Projects
CMIA has many exciting projects in process this year. There are many ways that you can provide your support to these works and our ministry. Below is a list of the funding needs this year for each of our projects. Please look around at the different project details to see where you might want to help financially or with other resources.
Projects at the 5 acre CMIA Main Headquarters
| Grace Children Centre - Interior Finishing | Funds Needed: $26,000 |
Although the new building for our orphans is now built we need funds for floors, fixtures, cabinetry, etc.
This building includes two child resident wings with seperate showers and toliets (for GCC main boys,main girls extension boys, extension girls).
This work also includes a clinic/dispensary, sick room for child residents, hospice care areainfant quarters, large kitchen, comon room, dining/study room and play room.
The new building size is 7,500 sqft.

| CMIA Ministry Offices - Remodel | Funds Needed: $19,000 |
This project is to remodel the current CMIA headquarter offices. The old Grace Children's Centre HIV home was the back half of the building that can now, as the new home is complete, be remodeled to become office space.

Covered Sports Pavilion - Build |
Funds Needed: $60,000 |
This project is to build a covered sports pavilion to host our sports ministry. This facility will hold basketball, volleyball, netball, and include landscaping of soccer pitch in an open air gymnasium setting.
This facility will be used by the students at our Church on the Rock Academy and Christian Ministry in Africa youth camp outreaches.

GCC Team Guest House - Remodel |
Funds Needed: $45,000 |
This project is to remodel the former Grace Children Centre's Main Home for use as a new guest house for our visiting mission teams.

| Sanctuary / Conference Hall- Build | Funds Needed: $109,000 |
This project is to build a new sanctuary / pastor training center / conference hall on the current site of the current Church on the Rock Langata temporary facility.
Project Costs $155, 000
$46, 000.00 of these project funds have been raised, adjusting the balance needed $109,000

| Septic System - Build | Funds Needed: $55,000 |
This project is to build a septic system to support the five acre property development, the Langata headquarters and the orphanage home compound.

| Main Campus - Clean-up, Landscaping | Funds Needed: $40,000 |
This project is to provide construction clean-up and landscaping services to our new compound now that the new building has been built. This project includes the following.
- Construction clean-up,
- Landscaping (trees/shrubs)
- Laying of ballast car and pedestrian paths/ lanes
- Laying of parking areas
All of this will be on the five acre ministry compound

| Two Room School Block - Build | Funds Needed: $23,000 |
This project is to build the final two room school block for the Church on the Rock Primary Academy
The rooms will be a teachers Resource Room, and a Science Room). These rooms will be 50 ft X 25 ft (inclusive of electricity and connections for water.

| Science Room Equipment | Funds Needed: $2,900 |
This project will provide our children at the Church on the Rock Primary Academy with much needed science room equipment and furnishings.

| Grades 7 and 8 Classroom Furnishings | Funds Needed: $6,000 |
This project is to fund the Church on the Rock Primary Academy. There have been new grades that have been added to the school recently (Year 7 and 8) and those classrooms are in need of furnishings (desks, chairs, shelves, storage cabinets, blackboards, etc).

| Textbooks: COTR Primary Academy | Funds Needed: $2,000 |
The funds from this project will be used to purchase textbooks for the Church on the Rock Primary Academy in Langata Kenya. These books will be for the Standard 8 grade which is equivelent to an 8th Grade American class.

| 28 Seat Ministry Bus - Purchase | Funds Needed: $50,000 |
This project is to purchase a new 28 seat ministry bus for ministry use helping people get church in various citiesand for transfering visiting missionary teams to our various sites.

| Medical Equipment - Purchase | Funds Needed: $30,000 |
Funds donated to this project will be used to furnish medical equipment for our new onsite clinic/hospice. This is a newly constructed facility at our Langata Grace Children's Centre.
