Randy and Sharon Weaver

Randy and Sharon Weaver were married in 1972. They have served in various capacities in ministries during these years. They attend Colorado Ridge Church in Westminster, Colorado where Randy recently stepped down after serving 7 years as an elder.

Randy has been the president of Trinity Construction Management for the past 25 years and specializes in commercial construction in the Denver metro area. They are currently involved in leadership of their small group. In the past Sharon has been a teacher in children’s ministries and in women’s ministries, leading Bible studies and speaking at women’s conferences. She has been an elementary teacher for 18 years in the Jefferson County School district. They have 2 married children and 5 grandchildren.

Ken & Barbara Ruffing

Ken and Barbara became personal friends with the Hatleys when David and Jennifer still lived in Texas, before they left for Africa.  The Ruffings met at Christ for the Nations, where they were both students in 1981.  Ken’s employment is with the US Postal Service, while Barbara’s career in education has shifted from full time for 25 years, to her current part-time business as a tutor.  They have two adult sons and one “daughter-in-love”.

Ken and Barbara have been long-time members of Church in the City in Rowlett, Texas one of the supporting churches for Christian Ministries in Africa.  The Ruffings currently serve as the Mission Directors having stepped into the position in 2015.  They have traveled to Kenya several times over the past 20 years, and currently enjoy bringing teams to minister in the children’s homes and churches.   In addition, as Missions Directors at their church, they lead teams to various nations.  Before their marriage, they both served overseas as well.     * Ken also serves as a member of the CMIA executive board

Jason & Anna Holland

Jason and Anna Holland are both graduates of Christ for the Nations Institute. Jason holds advanced degrees from Jacksonville Theological Seminary and a Masters Degree of Business Management from Regent University.

Jason and his wife Anna both serve Joshua Nations, where Jason is Director of Operations and Anna serves in and administrative capacity. Together they have traveled and ministered in over 25 nations for the past 17 years. Jason and Anna have three sons, Marcus, Judah, and Amos. The Holland family has led multiple teams to Kenya and many other nations.

David & Dorothea Shields

Rev. David Shields and wife, Dorothea, live with their children in the small community of Rockwall, Texas.  Together they founded ReIgnite International Ministries, an organization that exists to reignite vision, refuel passion and refresh the spirit of those who love and serve the Lord.  They attend LakeShore Church where David has served as Missions Director since 2005, and a member of the board since 2003.  David also serves as an ‘ambassador” for Texas-based Global Advance, conducting and participating in many Global Advance Frontline Shepherds Conferences.  In addition to these, he is VP of Sales and Marketing for Paty Preferred Meat Company, and founder and president of Steak Expressions Meat Company Inc.

Dorothea has served in several areas and outreaches of the church, but the call to minister the special love of God to women around the world is the motivating passion of her heart.  Dorothea finds deep satisfaction and fulfillment of purpose when women receive and walk in their own revelation of God’s plans and purposes for their lives.  Her greatest prayer is that each woman of God would live life “on Earth as it is in Heaven!”

Bob & Kim Wiese

Bob and Kim Wiese are long time friends and supporters of CMIA and David and Jennifer Hatley. Bob and David first met in 2001 while international speakers at pastors’ conferences in Arusha and Dodoma, Tanzania.

Bob is a dentist in successful private practice, and Kim is a popular Christian author, teacher and lecturer. They have four grown children.  The Wiese’s live in Rockwall, Texas and are active members of Lake Highlands Church in Dallas.  Both are regular conference speakers for Global Advance Frontline Shepherds Conferences.

Parkey and Rhonda Cobern

Parkey and Rhonda have pastored Capstone Church in Benbrook, Texas since 2004 and been in ministry since 1994.  Their heart is to see the Body of Christ, every tribe and tongue, encounter Jesus and have traveled all over the world teaching this encounter through the Word of God and healing of soul wounds. With a Kingdom focus they want to know Him and make Him known throughout the world.  They have three children and five grandchildren. *Rhonda is also a member of CMIA’s executive board.
